Harcourts Cooper & Co & Innovative among big winners at TMC Awards + Pics

The Tenancy Master Class Conference climaxed with an awards dinner recognising property management excellence at Shed 10 in Auckland last week.

After a day of inspiring presentations on stage and fun-filled activities with our range of sponsors, it was time for the property management industry to celebrate outstanding achievements.

With Nominated Awards and Master Class awards all up for grabs, several offices shone bright with nights to remember.

Harcourts Cooper & Co, situated on the North Shore of Auckland, emerged as a standout performer, securing a trifecta of Nominated Awards. Zoe Blackman was honoured with the title of Franchise Support Operations Person of the Year, Noujan Nayeri claimed the prestigious Franchise Property Manager of the Year, and their leader, Deb McKinnie, was recognised as the Franchise Manager of the Year.

Wendell Property, based in Central Auckland, asserted its dominance in the Independent Awards. Emily Baker earned the title of Independent Support Person of the Year, Sophie Price was celebrated as the Independent Property Manager of the Year, and the founder, Natalie Wendell, proudly accepted the Independent Manager of the Year accolade.

Iron Bridge Property Management in Auckland also left its mark, securing two Nominated Awards. Char Farrimond & Hayley Jones triumphed in the Independent Pod of the Year category, while the entire office was honoured as the Large Independent Office of the Year.

The Master Class Awards, designed to recognise the top students in our Master Class training modules, showcased exceptional results. Jenna Austin of Innovative Property Management was crowned the second-ever Master Class Property Manager of the Year. Her colleague, Shintala Ngatai, secured the second position, with Rosemary van der Velden following closely in third.

Rosemary was not the only standout from Rentlink Property Management, as colleagues Chantalle Conwell and Heather Harrison also secured spots in the top 10 Master Class students overall. Leeanne Utiger-Foote rounded off an outstanding night by not only placing in the top 10 but also clinching the Small Independent Office of the Year Award.

Homely Property Management celebrated with Amanda Wiapo receiving the New Independent Growth Award, and Rachael Stipkovits finishing an impressive fourth overall in the Master Class race.

Xclusive Property Management showcased its excellence, with Anna-Marie Gerber being named Independent Agent of the Year, and Grace Watson securing the sixth position on the Master Class Property Manager of the Year Leaderboard.
